Flood Relief

Chougule Hospital is working in disasters since more than a decade now and knows how to utilise timely donation for people’s need. With systemic approach from flood relief efforts, it has worked extensively during 2005 and 2019, floods in Sangli and surrounding villages.

Chougule Hospital provided relief material to needy people. The items include Masks, Sanitizers, Sanitary napkins, cleaning materials like mops, cleaning brushes, cleaning liquids, etc. Packets of food items like rice, dals, masala, biscuits, bread, etc.

Social Work during Covid-19 Pandemic

Chougule Hospital helped small villages of the region during the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic in the year 2020 to meet the huge requirement for critical care items such as masks, surgical gloves, gowns, medical aprons, disposable goggles, hand washing liquid soap bottles, face-shield, etc.

Relief to Old Age Homes

The old age homes and orphanages were neglected during the lockdown and were struggling for food as they are not receiving any donations. Chougule Hospital provided food, clothes and necessary things in the month of June 2020.

Free Medical Camps

Chougule Hospital conducted free camps in many nearby villages in 2018 and 2019 for the people who were suffering for their basic necessities like water, food, shelter, dress etc. A team of Doctors and Paramedical Staff attended the camps. Nearly 380 patients attended the camps and got treated. Medicines were distributed free. The camps served as a good relief to the affected population.

Free Medical Camp for Piles and Urosurgery at Concessional Rate

Chougule Hospital, Islampur conducted a free camp for piles on all Saturdays of 2013 and 2014. People suffering from piles had observed symptoms like bleeding in stools with or without pain, swelling in anal region or itching visited the camp for treatment and consultation by Dr Umesh Chougule, Laparoscopic Surgeon and medical director at Chougule Hospital.

Chougule Hospital provided free consultation to the patients and provided urosurgery, medicines and treatment at 50 % concessional rate. By conducting this camp, Chougule Hospital just did bit to provide the right consultation to the patients.
